11 September 2018 witnesses the Grand Opening Ceremony of NongHyup Finance (Cambodia) Plc at Hotel Sofitel Phnom Penh Phokeethra, presided over by Mr. KITH Sovannarith, Deputy Director General and Director of NBC, and Mr. LEE Dae Houn, CEO of NH Bank. Over 140 participants, including regulators, management and staff of NongHyup Bank and of NongHyup Finance (Cambodia) Plc, business partners and other stakeholders, are expected to attend the event.

NongHyup Finance (Cambodia) Plc has cooperated with Wing since July 2017. All the clients of NongHyup Finance can settle loan payment via Wing by simply bring the repayment schedule to all the nearest location of Wing Agency without any fee charge for all the transactions.

The Company organized a 3-day Annual Staff Assembly from 21- 23 December 2018 in Koh Kong province. The Staff Assembly was held with the objectives of (i) promoting team building through various team building activities giving opportunities to staff from different locations to interact with each other and (ii) holding the staff meeting by informing them what the Company achieved in 2018 and what the Company would expect in 2019. The staff meeting was held on the second day with several agenda items including (i) welcome remark and encouraging speech by CEO, (ii) presenting awards for outstanding staff, branches and employment seniority, (iii) encouraging speech and presentation on Cambodia’s tax system by the Independent Board Member, (iv) business plan for 2019 by CFO and (v) closing remark by CEO.

To help more households access to clean water, the Company contributed 300 sets of water filters to the poor households in Kampong Thom province through the National Bank of Cambodia - Kampong Thom Branch, on 27 December 2018.
