NongHyup Bank, headquartered in the Republic of Korea, and NongHyup Finance (Cambodia) Plc, in the presence of NongHyup Bank President & CEO Lee Seok Yong along with the management of both institutions, made a generous donation on August 8, 2023.
The kind gift – alongside a $5,000 financial contribution – was made to support AFESIP Cambodia, an organization located in Phnom Penh’s Dangkor district.
The donation consisted of essential supplies including one tonne of rice, 50 boxes of noodles, 50 boxes of canned fish, 50kg of sugar, 50kg of salt, 30 bottles of cooking oil, 50 boxes of soy sauce, and 50 boxes of fish sauce.
At the same time, each of the 155 children under the organization’s care received a useful pack containing five books, five pens, five pencils, one eraser, one ruler, one bag, and one water bottle.
The donation was made in commemoration of the fifth anniversary of NongHyup Finance (Cambodia) Plc’s establishment in the Kingdom.
