About 30% of NH Finance’s active clients are engaged in agriculture activities to generate their family income. To help these clients improve agricultural yields, NH Finance conducts agriculture training program on animal raising and rice farming every year. The training is usually conducted at the commune hall for 1 or 2 days depending on the contents of the training and the number of participants.
In 2019, NH Finance conducted four agriculture trainings in four branches (Kampong Thom, Chhouk, Kralanh and Steung Hav) with the total participants of 361 people. 25% of the participants were NH Finance’s clients and 60% were female.
